April 2003 “Commercial Alliance between Cisco Capital and CSI Leasing”

The business director of Cisco Capital, Mr. Rogelio de la Garza, announced that Cisco Capital and CSI Leasing entered into a commercial alliance in which the operating lease company would be able to offer CISCO technology to its customers who wish to acquire equipment. In an exclusive interview with Specialized Financing, they informed us that the alliance allows them to offer, basically, an operating lease framework that is both attractive and quite aggressive, thereby allowing for their distribution channels to increase sales and for the end-user of Cisco technology to have access to flexible financing under preferential conditions. CSI Leasing is currently one of its main partners as they handle 90 percent of their leasing volume. When asked why he chose this lessor, Mr. de la Garza stated that it is due to their 30 years of experience, the prestige, specialization and support that this operating lease company has in the United States, as well as the experience, professionalism and market know-how of the CSI Mexico team throughout the region. CSI has extensive knowledge of the leasing market in Mexico because the directors and sales force is very knowledgeable regarding the Cisco Capital’s target market and they offer a very aggressive alternative targeted to satisfy the needs of Mexican customers.

 

February 2004: Comercial Mexicana Invests in Technology

Comercial Mexicana invested 130 Million Dollars in technology, announced the Assistant Director of the Treasury, Mr. Javier Miranda Nava. He stated that the use of operating leases for equipment is a very efficient manner to use the equipment in accordance with their needs and allows for the replacement of the assets once they have met 100% of their useful technological life. He added: “we seek fiscal advantages and the efficient management of our cash flows. In addition, this framework allows us to replace assets once they have met our needs, and therefore we are always on the cutting edge of technology.
